International project work – cross-cultural communication
Task: Project participants from different European countries are to recognise cross-cultural opportunities in order to successfully perform and develop projects.
Solution: Participants exchange information in groups about personal experiences they have encountered during cross-cultural communication. In order to reflect these insights we analyse aspects of language, stereotypes, nonverbal communication prejudices and stress.
Afterwards they discuss with their project partners which cultural pattern they discovered in working together. On this foundation they develop alternative ways for future project work.
Result: Participants were able to reflect on their behaviour pattern and communication during international cooperation and together find and agree on new methods.
